Wool Processing Fleece to Yarn
The Mini Barn is excited to announce it is now offering wool processing! We are offering to take your fleece from sheep and alpaca or llama and process them into beautiful hand spun wool. We will not be making wool products, that is for you and your creative minds. We try to work with nature and all it has to offer, so while we know how exciting it can be to make a wool creation, please note we do not dye or alter the wool in any way. For sheering tips and advice we recommend, Legacy Sheering. We use methods such as carding and roving to ensure your yarn is handled with the upmost care. Packages will be processed and delivered within 30-60 days, unless otherwise noted. Each ball of yarn or skein is approximately 50-100g per pelt and prices vary depending on the size and animal type.
Pick Up & Drop Off
Wool pick ups and drop offs are by appointment only. Please email or call for specific details on location, timing and pricing. Please note we will clean and scour; however, excessively dirty pelts may have an additional charge.
